Nuevo Diverso Basico tiene un enfoque que fomenta la formación integral del alumno a través del pensamiento crítico y que atiende los valores y actitudes, la diversidad, la indagación, la acción y la reflexión sobre el mundo que nos rodea y sobre el propio aprendizaje.

Nuevo Diverso Basico Libro del alumno consta de 18 unidades (más una unidad 0) que se plantean alrededor de un concepto (identidad, competición… etc.).. Cada unidad contiene:

• Una portadilla para motivar y presentar al alumno los nuevos contenidos.

• Tres secuencias didácticas con distintos tipos de texto en los que se trabajan léxico, gramática, comunicación, ortografía y pronunciación (con remisiones al apéndice de Gramática y ejercicios).

• La sección “Acción-Reflexión” en la que el alumno realiza una acción final y reflexiona sobre ella. En esta sección se ofrece una propuesta de actividad con vídeo.

• Una doble página con información sobre un país de habla hispana en cada unidad

• Un Anexo con una nueva sección de gramática por unidades con ejercicios, un resumen de ortografía y pronunciación, las transcripciones de las grabaciones y un léxico por unidades.

• Audios descargables desde la zona de descargas de la página web.

Nuevo Diverso Básico has an approach that promotes the integral formation of the student through critical thinking and that addresses values and attitudes, diversity, inquiry, action and reflection on the world that surrounds us and on learning itself.

Nuevo Diverso Básico Student's book consists of 18 units (plus one unit 0) that are raised around a concept (identity, competition... etc.).

Each unit contains:

• A cover page to motivate and introduce the student to the new content.

• Three didactic sequences with different types of text in which vocabulary, grammar, communication, spelling and pronunciation are worked on (with references to the Grammar appendix and exercises).

• The “Action-Reflection” section in which the student performs a final action and reflects on it. This section offers an activity proposal with video.

• A double page with information on a Spanish-speaking country in each unit

• An Annex with a new grammar section by units with exercises, a summary of spelling and pronunciation, transcriptions of the recordings and a lexicon by units.
