iChinese Books 3 and 4, Second Edition are developed based on the current syllabus for Language B (first examination 2020) in the International Baccalaureate® Diploma Programme (IBDP).

This second edition features new, updated content and full coverage of the five prescribed themes in the Language B course. Each coursebook consists of 10 units that are organized around five prescribed themes. Each unit features two main reading passages which engage students in issues of global significance, and develop an awareness and appreciation of perspectives of people from different cultural backgrounds.

Through contextualized study of language, texts and themes, students will develop essential interactive, productive and receptive language skills to excel in the IB examination. Book 3 is suitable for students taking Language B at the Standard Level (SL) and Book 4 is suitable for students taking Language B at both the Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).
